By Jessa Schroeder For Dailymail. Police arrested two ex-Iowa nursing assistants who were allegedly sexually involved with mentally ill patients. The Fayette County Sheriff's Office had been informed about two missing patients late last month when the investigation first started. Megan Marie Penney, 26, left and Paige Lynn Johanningmeier, 23, right were arrested and charged Tuesday for allegedly having sex with two mentally ill patients. Penney and Johanningmeier are both former employees at Prairie View Management Facility in Fayette County where they met the two patients. Police said the nursing assistants started relationships with the two patients at work.
Representations of nurses regarding sexuality of women treated for breast cancer in Brazil. The development of new treatments has improved survival and quality of life among cancer patients. Nurses are expected to answer questions and to provide orientation regarding patients' sexuality since it is an important aspect of life. The main objective of this paper is to understand the representations of sexuality among nurses working with women who survive breast cancer after diagnosis and during treatment assuming that their representations may affect communication with the patient. This is a qualitative study using an in-depth guideline which involved interviews with 28 nurses living and working in the southeast of Brazil.
